Innovation

For over 20 years, the group has promoted innovation in order to support its customers in environments requiring expertise and advice.

Founded in 2002, Artcurial quickly established itself as the French leading auction house and has continued to innovate dynamically, launching new specialities and expanding across Europe and Morocco.

John Taylor continues to expand by offering new, tailor-made products and services, and by combining its original core businesses of property transactions, rentals and management with activities such as the development of prestige property programmes, top-of-the-range commercial property and yachting.

Arqana, Europe’s leading auction house of racehorses, was founded at the instigation of His Highness the Aga Khan, Laurent Dassault and the Artcurial Group, and is enjoying strong growth.

History

Artcurial is renowned for its active commitment to patronage, making it a major player in the promotion of heritage and the arts.

As examples, the company recently supported the Ingres, l'artiste et ses princes exhibition at the Château de Chantilly, the Capitale(s) exhibition dedicated to Street Art at Paris City Hall and the restoration of a major artwork at the Château de Vaux-Le-Vicomte.

The auction house is also a long-standing partner of the Château de Saint Jean de Beauregard, the ADIAF and its Marcel Duchamp Prize, as well as the Daniel & Florence Guerlain Contemporary Art Foundation.

In 2024, Artcurial is proud to be a major sponsor alongside Dassault Histoire et Patrimoine to celebrate the centenary of the Demeure Historique, affirming its commitment to living heritage.

In addition to these initiatives, Artcurial frequently organises charity sales in aid of organisations such as the Apprentis d'Auteuil Foundation, the PSG Foundation and the Premiers de cordée association in partnership with Breitling, illustrating its social and cultural commitment.

These actions make Artcurial a key player in the art market's sponsorship landscape, combining a passion for art with social responsibility.
