Presentation

DFS handles a major share of maintenance and modifications for Falcon operators in Europe and Africa. Specialized technicians are always ready at Paris-Le Bourget, or anywhere in the world, to get an aircraft on ground back in the air as quickly as possible ("FalconResponse"). DFS also operates a fleet of latest-generation Falcon jets. By entrusting DFS with the management of their aircraft, Falcon owners can benefit from nearly 60 years' experience in Falcon operations and flight management. Finally, the Handling department welcomes passengers and crews of aircraft passing through Paris-Le Bourget, offering a wide range of technical and commercial services, while the Operations department organizes flight preparation.

History

DFS was created in 1967, under the name Europe Falcon Service (EFS), to provide customers with support services that match Dassault quality standards. The original facilities at Le Bourget were expanded, and EFS became the world's largest service center dedicated to Falcon aircraft, with 7 hangars capable of accommodating up to 25 aircraft.
In 1988, the Falcon Training Center was born of a partnership between EFS and Flight Safety International, also at Le Bourget. This training center for pilots and technicians is equipped with state-of-the-art flight simulators.
In 2004, under its current name, DFS set up a satellite service center in Rome. The first in a series that now includes Nice and Dakar.
In October 2016, DFS inaugurated a second service center in Bordeaux-Mérignac to support the expansion of the Falcon fleet.
