History

In 1972, as the number of Falcon jets continued to grow in North America, AMD-BA, Dassault International and Pan American, launch customer for the Falcon 20, joined forces to create Falcon Jet Corporation (FJC) in the United States. In 1974, FJC bought Little Rock Airmotive, a 5,700m2 hangar and office space, to modify and fit out aircraft shipped from Bordeaux-Mérignac for the American market.

In 1980, Dassault-Breguet bought out its 50% stake in FJC, becoming the sole shareholder. In 1995, Dassault Falcon Jet Corp. (DFJ) was created to replace FJC. Two years later, DFJ moved into a new headquarters (general management, customer service and marketing) adjacent to Teterboro airport.

The Little Rock plant, expanded several times, gradually became the main and then the only completions center for all Falcon jets worldwide.
